Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for Vehicle Insurance, vehicle finance management, Vehicle Fuel money management and Vehicle maintenance payment calculations.
Ensure month end close for fixed assets accurately and timely. Review the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets and update the fixed asset acquisition and disposition in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger
Ensure consistent asset lives and capitalization policies are followed throughout the organization.
Calculate and record deprecation for all fixed assets.
Reconcile the fixed asset balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the general ledger.
Prepare audit schedules related to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
Review CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and coordinate with landlords for additional supporting documents.
Verify billing and payment information on CAM reconciliation and follow up with landlords to resolve any discrepancies.
Work with Store Operations to develop and publish monthly store contribution statement and other operational management reports including bonus metric calculations.
Assist with preparation of business unit budget.
Assist with year-end audit and reconciliations.
Assist with additional Accounting and Finance related projects as needed.
Analyze and monitor the finance aspect, costs, procedure & internal processes for Finance, Accounts, Treasury.
Coordinate with auditor to Finalize the year end accounts.
Should have knowledge in commercial and export documentation, knowledge in shipping, freight forwarding etc.
Scrutinize key general ledger accounts and bring discrepancies and observations. Statutory compliances: TDS Payment, TDS return filling issuing of TDS Certificate and GST filling.
Preparing and Finalization of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account with related schedules.
Coordination between various functions of branches.
Preparing MIS Reports
Assist to close the books of accounts on month on month basis.
Coordinates with warehouse assistant(s) to ensure availability of space in warehouse/distribution plans.
Maintains appropriate filing of logistics and shipping documents.
Ensures data correctness to facilitate clearing.
Liaises with clearing agent and ensures timely availability of documentation.
Checks all invoices for clearing/forwarding services against service requests.
Submits invoice package for certification.
Supervises day-to-day operations of clearing agent.
Records and retrieves information related to supply/logistics including receiving documents and data for input, and completes the established input procedures.
Submit regular reports for a continuous overview of supply chain operations including volumes, values, incoming goods, warehouse stocks and distribution.
Participates in regular warehouse physical inventory counts and submits subsequent inventory reports. Produces official release and receiving documents.
Any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Senior Accountant to lead the finance & accounts department and various business support verticals.
Excellent working knowledge of TALLY, MS Excel. Knowledge of other
accounting software such as Quick Books, MYOB, Zero etc is an added
advantage.
Finalization of accounts including the analysis and comparison with
previous year figures
Preparation of finance dashboard for senior management
Secures financial information by completing database backups
Finalization of payroll and approval for the issue
Review and train junior accountants
Ability to multi-task and set weekly and monthly targets
Ensure legal and statutory compliance
Responsible for finalization of Trail balance and Balance Sheet
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing processes
